The Sign of Melody

Mary was sixteen, when they were sexually assaulted. They knew they would never get their voice heard, or have justice.

They also knew, they wanted to publish books from a young age, and at sixteen, they knew they wanted to publish a book about it. So they could feel heard and seen.

That is where this book comes into play. The Sign of Melody is a collection of poetry that show the aftermath of the traumatic event. But also trying to show others, you are never alone and it does get better.

A study in dust and echoes

A study in dust and echoes is the next instalment in the poetry series by Mary Wills.

With still a profound look into trauma, Mary is taking next steps in their life: by moving to another country. This poetry book takes a look into what it means to be asexual and hoping to find love, and that the fear that comes with that. To being non-binary, and how Mary is still tackling trauma.

Their Last Cage is the third poetry book in The Sign of Melody series.

The third book has a more profound look into trauma. There are no barriers within this book. Mary speaks their more profound truth about the struggles of PTSD and remembering new things they had forgotten.

Trigger warnings: sexual assault, miscarriage, religious trauma.
